Polyethylene Foam Building and Construction
GOLDFLEX® polyethylene foams with a thickness of 5, 8, 10 and 15 mm are used in the construction industry as thermal and acoustic insulation stacked under a screed. They are also used as dilatation tapes laid at walls and vertical obstacles, ensuring their full insulation from the floor. The width of the tape shall ensure that the floor is isolated from vertical partitions of the room.
Polyethylene foams are 100% recyclable and do not react chemically with varnishes, which makes them environmentally friendly.
The foams are offered as mats rolled up in rolls.
At the Customer’s request, foams are also available in any colour, in the form of dilatation tapes of a width agreed with the Customer and with increased parameters, constituting a vapour barrier:
- Foams laminated with LDPE foil
- Foams laminated with HDPE foil
- LM metallic laminated foams
